Mister Morphic Poem

Mental Anguish

Drips from pen

Demonized love

Kept from Him

Gentle hymn

Sensual Sin

Breathe in

And out

I’m scared of love

A terrible drug

Which poisons

From mug.

A deep well of tainted water

So subtly sweet

Poison masked with ease.

A tease

Dripping from thirst

The kind that won’t quench

Until you burst

Into a thousand flames

Surely to extinguish

Without name

Deep in dirt

From the game

You played.

Mister Morphic

Who’s score

Keeps you perfect?

How long

will a mirrorless Mann

go unkept?

Seeking Soul

Until you’re drained old.

It’s time to speak

Let blood flow to your feet

Mesmerize the audience

In rhythm and beat.

Let their soul jubilize

And realize

That mastery comes from within.

External dependence

Will only draw you closer to Sin.

Perfect only came once

With that first breath of air

You shared

With this World.

Fresh skin

So delicate

Even a Sun’s touch

Would burn Him.

Beautiful innocence

What lies in store for you?

Will you shape the world

Or will it shape you?

Covered in glue

So that each page

Sticks to you.

Mangled in mess

Identified and Confessed.

A Broken Mess

Simplified by THEIR tests.

Wash clean

And dare to dream

Set on self love

That no one can demean.

Anchored to a Soulfull seabottom

The current may push and pull

But your ship of Destiny

Floats strong

Buoyant and brilliant

To sing your song.
